Quirky, fun read!
great story
I'm fairly certain that this is nothing more than the first chapters of the original version of "My So-Called Death", possibly slightly reworked but I'm too lazy to pull out my copy and compare line by line. It's my understanding *now* that when the publishing rights to her earlier books (I'm looking at you especially hard, Megan Berry series) reverted back to Ms. Jay, she decided to revamp (pun intended) them and re-release as serials. Good for you, Glen Coco - except not everyone got the memo. I was delighted to see that there were more books...until I learned what happened.
So...if you haven't read MSCD, great - this is a cute little intro that sets up the main story. If you've already read it, don't get excited and think this is genuine, pre-Death Challenged Karen short.
(I should probably give it more stars, but I'm feeling deceived)
